About Us

          Ana and Ellen have been friends for almost 20 years. This project grew out of a saying by the Native American Lakota tribe “Mitakuye Oyas’in”, meaning "all are related".  The thought of how to share and remind ourselves on a daily basis that we are all related, connected and bound together to live on this Earth in peace and mutual support.

      From this idea, the thought of having a simple bracelet to remind the wearer of this truth every day. Exact Change grew from this spirit. We chose four words that keep us each connected to the Earth, to the Energy of Love, Hope, and Forgiveness, and most importantly, to each other.
